Re: 2019 Off-Season - Veteran QBs you're comfortable with
This. None of those names intrigue me besides Flacco. Would like to see what he does in a new situation. Throw in Tannehill or Nick Foles and I'm all ears. Maybe even Teddy and Tyrod...
Smith is currently an outlier for me. Is he done?? If he comes back, he has value. I'm just not sure he comes back
Re: 2019 Off-Season - Veteran QBs you're comfortable with
Oops I forgot about Tyrod Taylor however he is only entering his year 30 season this year and I was focusing more on older guys with shorter windows.

when Washington didn't even give Bradford a call that was a huge red flag to me. Either he is still injured or moving on with his life? very weird there have been no reports on him
Re: 2019 Off-Season - Veteran QBs you're comfortable with
Yes's - Flacco
Maybe's - Eli, Alex Smith
The rest of the bunch have shown flashes at some point but then have been relegated to backup duties...so unless there's some type of injury I can't see any of them being relevant again. And with today, if any of these guys become bridge QBs....their leash is going to be 4 games lol.
Like if Osweiler stays in Miami + they draft someone

Re: 2019 Off-Season - Veteran QBs you're comfortable with
Agree that Flacco is the only one I'd consider stashing for upside. If the rumors of him going to JAX come true, he's a viable low-end QB1 / high-end QB2 with a good defense and good offensive line. That was the recipe for his success in BAL.

Re: 2019 Off-Season - Veteran QBs you're comfortable with
I'm very cautiously going to be monitoring Tannehill after Miami. They've gotta movie on from him this offseason.

Although I agree it is very interesting Bradford didnt get contacted - I suspect health & cost made him unappealing mid-season.

no offense but I could have written that. Pure speculation and no insight as to what is going on. No quotes or anonymous sources. Google has nothing on Sammy either, maybe he took a knee without us seeing.ArrylT wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 9:40 pmAsk and you shall receive.Krypto_King wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 8:39 am when Washington didn't even give Bradford a call that was a huge red flag to me. Very true - I just thought it was interesting that it came out the same day you were wondering about Bradford news - even if it is just speculation on part of an Eagles blogger.

fair. I guess after the last contract he snagged he gave his agent 6 months paid vacation

Looks like we may have to cross Alex Smith off the list (but not a total surprise).

Re: 2019 Off-Season - Veteran QBs you're comfortable with
Not that they are veterans but what about Teddy Bridgewater and Jacoby Brissett? Both have speculation of moving on from the saints and colts respectively. What are the chances they go somewhere else to start, and - obviously it depends on where they go - but what would their values become as starters on a depth chart?
