Currently 3-2 but as top scoring team & going for it this year
That said I am interested in getting Winston for Rivers or Stafford- do you think this is a good idea both for ROS & forward?
Thanks
Winston

Re: Winston
Yes and yes. IMO, Winston is the #1 buy in fantasy football (though that window will close fast), and this is your last good chance to get him for cheap.

Re: Winston
I own both Winston and Stafford and would have a hard time moving Stafford for Winston right now. If you could get him for Rivers I would though.

Re: Winston
As a Winston owner - zero chance I would move him for that.
I am in the camp (or maybe alone) that called him top 5 in the offseason.

Re: Winston
I moved Stafford straight swap for Winston.
Since then I was offered Freeman for Winston (I have Coleman already) but decided to hold onto Winston.

Re: Winston
Winston is more valuable than Freeman. Just the nature of 2 QB. I would've rather have given up Rivers than Stafford but it was the right move
Re: Winston
Felt same way but said no to Rivers!
If Freeman wasn’t injured I may have considered it. Countered with Hunt but was declined

Re: Winston
I feel like Winston is falling into Bortles territory, aka he probably will be a good fantasy producer, but will he actually win games?
There's going to come a time where Tampa moves on if Jameis can't make them competitive. Granted, it's also one of the toughest (if not THE toughest) division in football but that's just my thinking.

Re: Winston
I don't like that statement - mainly because Bortles has a top tier defense to fall back on and what has been a serviceable running game. The Bucs have had a mediocre defense and a non-existent run game.
If you toss Winston on the Jaguars I could guarantee he would be winning more games.

Re: Winston
I dont doubt that Winston is better than Bortles but like you said, hes in the way better position for fantasy. I dont see a Mike Evans or Godwin or OJ on JAX... I think it's closer NFL talent wise but in fantasy it's a no brainerPhaded wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 8:25 am I don't like that statement - mainly because Bortles has a top tier defense to fall back on and what has been a serviceable running game. Not sure why we are even debating Bortles and using him as the QB litmus test lol
Re: Winston
There's no doubt about it, Jacksonville has been FAR more successful in actually building a team around Bortles. We've seen some other teams do the same in PHI, LAR, CHI (potentially).
Tennessee, for a while, looked like their formula was going to work but their OL has regressed, inept running game, etc.
Now after Winston's 4 INT game and benching, lol a lot are making Bortles comparisons now that I've heard on the radio.
