I think once Sam is named starter that trade sounds about right. Unless Davis has a huge game. I get the sense Davis’s value is kinda like a powder keg. One spark and it might blow.

I would think you'd need more than just Davis for that trade, definitely depends on the owner though.

Personally, I'd be strongly on the Darnold/KJ side in this trade because their combined value next year is almost assuredly greater than Davis's.

Sam and KJ are probably both somewhere in the mid 1st to early 2nd category.
Davis was 2nd overall last year.

I don't think Davis has hurt his value a ton, but he didn't help it.

I think that places all three in/around the same bucket of mid 1st to early 2nd value.

Darnold is about to be a rookie starter, which means he has value at least as a bye week guy with upside/opportunity/potential for more in a 2qb.

I am not high enough on Davis to trade Darnold straight up. I wouldn't add Kerryon.

I do like Davis and his potential but he did nothing last year to merit the hype he is getting so far this off-season. To me Davis is about equal to Keryon right now and you'd probably have to add something small to him to get Darnold. Davis was the 1.06 pick in both my dynasty leagues last year (one a ppr 10 team superflex and one a standard scoring 2 QB league).
