Cooks Trade

Postby PhiladelphiaJack » Thu Jun 28, 2018 9:16 am

10-Team, 2QB, PPR League

I've stockpiled a few QBs lately and a QB-needy team approached me with this offer:

I send: Case Keenum and 1.04
I receive: Brandin Cooks

Keenum is currently my QB4 of the 5 starting QBs I have on my roster and I could use the WR help. I don't know how I feel about Cooks in LA, but I also don't know if I trust Keenum to be a long-term solution.

Should I do it?

Id ask for a 2nd back in return and then do it.

Seems like an overpay. Cooks and the 1.04 seem like comparable value. Personally I'd go for a 19 1st rather than a 2nd.

The 1.04 is by far the more valuable piece coming from your side, so you should be thinking about how you feel about that vs Cooks.

I'd say that 1.04 >= Cooks in 2QB, and Keenum = late 1st. This seems like an overpay. Cooks alone should be worth about the 1.04, or as someone else suggested, Cooks + Keenum for 1.04 + 2019 2nd would be a decent counter.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking along the same lines, but it always helps to see confirmation.
