Trading down from 1.03

Postby SnidelyWhiplash » Wed Jun 06, 2018 7:45 pm

Please help a rookie out:

I have 1.03 and the guy with 1.07 is interested. What would he need to add to make the trade work?

My initial thought is that he throws in his 2019 1st (probably mid-late) and I send back a 2019 3rd...

If I owned 1.07 I would give up peanuts for 1.03, too much value on the board. Owning a top pick is difficult to get much. If you get that it's a steal. Any SF I've been in the top 5 guys immediately put their pick OTB.

If the guy at 1.07 is interested, that means he values the 1.03 higher than the 1.07. I personally don’t see much of a difference in those picks, so I’d take a 2019 2nd to do it. Swapping 2019 1st and 3rd would be even better.
