I'm team Bowser so I took OBJ at 1.05... wanted to go Saquon but he went a bit earlier than expected. Still, can't really complain about OBJ considering I've seen him go 1.01 on many occasions.

Yeah, Barkley at 1.03 is a bit much for me. OBJ and Hopkins going after him, that's definitely a reach IMO. Surprised Zeke went 2, with his off field issues and his off-season physique looking less than ideal. RB's are ruling the first rounds of start ups these days.

Thanks man! Yea I was pretty happy with the pick and after that, I took Rodgers at 2.08, which I felt was a steal. Then took Jimmy G at 3.05. Was a little bummed as I was targeting Luck but he literally went the pick before me! So that was a bit of a bummer but overall I'm pretty happy about getting my 2 QB's out of the way and now can turn my attention elsewhere.

Tell me about it, man! I'm honestly loving my draft so far... just got Julio at pick 4.08 (pick 44) which is easily the furthest I've seen him slip in any startup this year by a hefty margin! I haven't even traded yet which is the craziest thing and while I was hoping for some better RBs since this is a PPC league, I felt like the value of the players that I took makes up for the weakness I'm probably going to have at that position. Hopefully, there will be more good things to come!

I know right? We're in the 7th round and TY is still on the board! He was the 13th or 14th pick in one of my startups last year, it was non-SF but still! Guys are falling like crazy!

I Took Hilton Pick 77!!! So, one of the reason is because the scoring is set up in a way where all positions are a little more balanced but still, this doesn't excuse how far some of these elite players have been falling, a lot of guys have been reaching to fill holes meanwhile, I'm just staying put, mostly, and plucking BPA everytime I can. I still have no Rbs but I'm really not even that worried about it with all the other players I've accumulated. As it stands my team right now is:

QB: Rodgers, Garoppolo
RB: N/A
WR: OBJ, Julio, TY
TE: Engram, H. Henry

It's not as bad as Andy Dalton but how do you justify Hunter Henry over the 1.3 rookie? You have a great draft otherwise but I feel like you punted off at least a mid 1st round pick worth of value there

So TE's are super prem in this league, they get 1.5 ppc and .15 points per yard, that can pay off huge if a TE like Engram or HH catch a few balls, get like 60-80 yds, and a score. I was thinking 1.03 but the commish took the Te's 1-3 in Gronk, Kelce, Ertz. I figured it was good to grab the TE4-5 while I could.

gotcha. I guess you mentioned it is balanced scoring and Henry is the end of a tier for youth + production at TE, sounds like a fun experiment

Seeing actual startup drafts just shows me I have absolutely zero idea how mine will go and planning ahead is almost useless lol. Just make a big board you trust and then adapt
