1.08 for Tribusky

Postby sportsjunky1422 » Sat Mar 24, 2018 12:47 pm

I got an offer for 1.08 for my Tribusky

14 Team, Superflex, 6 PT passing TD's, WR- .5PPR, RB/TE- 1PPR,
Start: 1-QB, 1-OP, 2-RB, 3-WR, 1-TE, 1-RB/TE
QB: Watson, Rivers, Tribusky, Taylor, Tannehill
RB: McCoy, Ajayi, Blount, Coleman, Prosise, Powell, Gillislee, Richard
WR: Beckham, TY, Crabtree, Westbrook, K. Cole, DJax, BMarsh, J. Grant, Darboh, D. Smith
TE: Olsen, Cook, Davis, G. Celek
1.10, 2.02, 2.10

I'm really not sure of Tribuskys value and am not much of a fan either so I'm good with trading him however the 1.08 seems like a lite offer IMO but the offering owner also owns the 1.04, 1.06, 2.04, 2.07, 2.08, 3.01 picks what would be a decent counter offer.

I think 1.04-6 range is reasonable. 14 team league with a young starter that just added a fair amount of weapons, I'd lean toward the 1.04 side.

I wouldn't take that, he's coming to you because he believes Trubisky is heading for bigger year and won't be able to get him for that cheap again. He's a hold unless you get 1.04

Are there 2-3 QBs in this rookie class that you like more than Trubisky? If so, then 1.04 is fine. If not, then 1.04 is not enough.

1.04 yes. 1.08 no. I do like 4 qbs in this draft better than Trubisky.
QB: Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Ryan Tannehill
RB: Jordan Howard, Mark Ingram, Jay Ajayi, D'Onta Foreman
WR: Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Jarvis Landry, Robert Woods
TE: Travis Kelce, OJ Howard

He declined my counter of 1.04 for Tribusky. He said it was to rich for his blood so I've moved on.

I would have countered with the 1.06 and been very happy with it. I like 4 of this year's qbs more than him and would certainly land one there.

even though a deal didnt materialize i would still def try to move a qb, gotta be of high value in 14 team SF unless the scoring is super balanced, and you dont need 5 starting qbs when you could move one for a nice rb or wr to help your lineup rather than your bench/depth
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp

Your counter was fair, though I'm not sure there is much benefit moving from a locked in starter for 2018 with a year under his belt for a newcomer with no guarantees on when they start. There was no way the 1.08 was enough.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

So you could have made a profit (off of original draft price). If you're not sold on Trubisky, and he wont budge on 1.04, perhaps see what can be added to the 1.08 (although I assume you may have already tried this). Maybe he'll toss in a future 2nd or a player you like?

If Trubisky lasted to 2.09 - definitely curious to see where your QBs go in this years draft. 8-)

Based on the rankings from the experts and twitterverse, I'm a lot higher on Trubisky than others.
He flashed last year, which was nearly impossible throwing to the Kendell Wright and Inmans of the world with John Fox ensuring the offense did nothing creative. The arm is there, the physicality and escapability is there.
Add in Allen Robinson, Gabriel and Burton and I'm very interested.
Hire Nagy to revamp the offense and I'm giddy.
As a lifelong packer fan it saddens me to think that the Bears have finally found a franchise quarterback, signed a potential WR1 and paired them up with a coaching staff that can exploit defenses and utilize their players strengths. I have Trubisky over Darnold, Allen, Mayfield and Rosen. I'm not at all interested in 1.8 for him. I'm not sure I'm interested in 1.2 for him either.
I'll sit here as the lifelong packer fan sadly near the front of the Mitch bandwagon.
