Pay up for Russ?

Postby Kramer » Fri Mar 09, 2018 8:51 pm

10-team PPR SF league
Start 1QB/2RB/3WR/2TE/1Flex/1SF

Here are the relevant players on my team (I hit on a lot of rookies last year and bought low on a lot of players):

QB: Rodgers, Luck, Mariota, Smith
RB: Fournette, Shady, Mixon, Foreman, Collins
WR: Nuk, ARob, Hilton, Watkins, Alshon, Davis, Josh Gordon, Kupp, Mike Williams, Doctson
TE: Olsen, Graham, Henry, OJ
Picks: 1.06, 1.07, 2.01

The Wilson owner initially offered him up to me for Mariota, Watkins, 1.06, 1.07. I told him that was going to be way too much. Now we're at the same offer minus one of the 1sts. He is pretty persistent about keeping Mariota, Watkins and the 1st in the deal. Is it worth paying Mariota, Watkins and a mid 1st to pair up Rodgers with Wilson? Or should I just keep the depth I have and hedge against injuries and other things?

Edit: Forgot about the flex spot in starting lineup

Two teams have now let Watkins go and it's not like mariota is looking all thst great. The pick is a total unknown, worth it for Wilson in this setup.

Close for me but voted Wilson, a young elite qb would help with a couple aging qbs

Thanks for the input guys. I was able to complete the trade. Here is the final version.

I gave Mariota, Watkins, 1.06, my 19 1st, late 19 2nd
I got Wilson, Tate

Essentially added (to the offer in the poll) Tate for my 1st next year which should be late and another late 2nd next year in order to get it done.

But the Seahawks' defense is elite! Wilson will barely have to throw to stay competitive in games... oh wait...
