Give- 1.10
Get- 2.4, 4.4

12 team superflex league, slightly deeper rosters than usual (QB, SF, 3RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1WR/TE, 1RB/WR/TE). TE 1ppr, rest .5ppr

Feels good in my gut, but not sure about going to the other side of the 1/2 turn when there could be a top tier QB still available at 10 (or if not, the likes of a Gurley level player) but not available 6 picks later. I do still have my 2.3
No way I'd move back from pick 10 to pick 16, with the compensation being an early fourth. I think there's a tier drop between those picks, with the 1.10 leaving you either a top QB or WR, or one of the second tier of runningbacks.

12-team SF, PPR, TE premium, 0.25 PPCarry
1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1SF 4Flex
QB: Mahomes, Fields, Love
RB: Bijan, ETN, Pollard, Achane, Herbert
WR: Kupp, Hill, Metcalf, Ridley, Jeudy, D.J. M, Burks, Hollywood, Wan'Dale
TE: Kyle Pitts, Goedert

I like this trade for you. Gonna give you a leg up with deep starting requirements.

I'm doing this 10 out of 10 times; 4.04 is pick 40, which is a very solid player in a SF, likely a top 30 skill-position guy in a non-SF. The easiest way to figure this out is make a list of your top 10, then make a list of the top 16 and ask yourself if there's enough of a difference there that makes you not want to do the trade. Picking up that extra top 40 player for 6 spots seems ideal in a deeper starting requirements league.

Full disclosure, my strategy in startups is generally to collect lots of picks in the top 8 rounds.

Pleasant update. I got him to add a 6th as well. Gave up 1.10 for 2.4, 4.4, 6.4. Definitely like it now rather than on the fence as I was with just a 4, and glad I countered rather than just accepted

Interesting to see how our teams turn out. He gave up his 1st to move up to the 1.3, and now reaquired a 1st, so he'll have some top end firepower but no depth

I don't love it to be honest; is the option there if you are on the clock?
If you have a top 7 you view as very close together when you're on the clock then maybe..

EDIT: Didn't notice there was another page, lol.

Gave Mahomes, 1.05, Watkins, Anderson

Got Bell, Brees, Meredith, 2.06

For Team 2 in sig.

A new owner with a partial rebuild initiated this trade. He wanted Mahomes/1.05 and offered Bell/Foles/2.06. There was a lot of discussion around how I could get Brees instead of Foles. He wanted Cooper but I didn't want to sell low so I offered up both WRs. I think it's a solid win/win.

Mahomes is the new CPat. I have a lot of faith in Andy Reid but Mahomes wasn't much different than Josh Allen a year ago

Startup draft. QB, SF, 3RB, 3WR, Flx, TE, WR/TE so the deeper starting lineups I feel will matter. Also TE .5ppr boost,

Still decided to move up as I felt it was cheap enough. Get 3.3, give 7.10, 8.3, 9.10

I now have 2 2nds, 2 3rds, 2 4ths, a 5th, and 2 6ths. No 1st, and then won't pick again til round 10 in a 12 teamer

Hope I can hit on those 9 guys there, and get a usable flex or two out of rounds 10-14

I love it. Round 7 is about the time when real studs are totally gone from an SF startup. Your trades should build you a great roster.

Team 1 below
Gave: Emmanuel Sanders
Received: Andy Dalton

All but eliminates my WR depth, but before I was thinking I HAD to take a QB at 1.05, and I think this frees me up to react based on what happens in front of me.

Just made another trade for team 1.

Gave: Jerick McKinnon
Received: 1.08 + 2.08

Feeling good about getting a QB and RB in the first now at 1.05/1.08! Also happy with the massive ROI on McKinnon, who I took really late in the startup draft last year. I think he'll be good this year, but I have doubts about his potential to hold up under an increased workload.
