Team two in signature is rebuilding, and looking to sell Hopkins for young value across the board... not desperate to get rid of him though, of course. I've been offered the following trade, and would love opinions on how far off the forum thinks it is in terms of picks.
Give: DeAndre Hopkins
Get: Jameis Winston, Mike Williams
Hopkins Superflex Value

Re: Hopkins Superflex Value
If I were you I’d keep him he’s an anchor for your underwhelming WRs
If you can be patient i’d Draft Saquon and spend the 2nds on whichever top QBs fall in your draft, Saquon Hopkins and Mixon are a good start. If not move down a spot or 2 from the 1.1 but only if you get a really good piece plus a top 4 pick. Mike Williams is not worth much right now.
Good luck

Re: Hopkins Superflex Value
I'd want an early 1st added to Winston and Williams to even consider that offer. Hopkins is a top 4 pick (and arguably the top overall pick) in superflex startups. Winston for all the success he's had so far has yet to put together an elite season. Williams struggled with injuries for most of his rookie year. You don't sell Hopkins for anywhere close to that.
I like the advice of drafting Barkley and then grabbing QBs with your other two picks (although, don't force it and stick to BPA). Might even be worth pooling the two seconds together to move up to the 8th or 9th pick and grabbing one of the better QB prospects.

Re: Hopkins Superflex Value
Feel like this is a make or break year for Winston and he hasn't really lived up to his pedigree...he's had flashes but has also killed his team with turnovers and had some questionable on-field interactions (Saints, etc.)
If anything, you could make the case that Winston is a buy-low target. Williams has proven nothing and is on a team that flows through Gordon, Allen and Henry.
While I admire the initial offer, it's pretty darn bad.

Thanks for the input, all. I was thinking that this trade was two 1sts away from being fair, it's good to see how others see it.

It's not a bad offer. I see it as a mid 1st away.ilangoneverdies wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2018 10:51 pm Thanks for the input, all. I was thinking that this trade was two 1sts away from being fair, it's good to see how others see it.

I was thinking an early 1st, but I also consider Hopkins the dynasty WR1 so I'm high on him.Goddard wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 1:05 amIt's not a bad offer.
