I think it's close. Obviously in SF lean towards qb, but that difference in draft pick could be huge. I'd say if you need QB help make the trade, if you need wr help stay put.

I'd probably pass, I think Carr is worth a lot more than Watkins. ADP seems to have them about even.

12-team SF, PPR, TE premium, 0.25 PPCarry

QB: Mahomes, Fields, Love
RB: Bijan, ETN, Pollard, Achane, Herbert
WR: Kupp, Hill, Metcalf, Ridley, Jeudy, D.J. M, Burks, Hollywood, Wan'Dale
TE: Kyle Pitts, Goedert

Im passing here. 10 teamer and you have Wentz and wilson and some other options. No need to add Carr IMO. Id rather gamble on Watkins blowing up.

Edit: just saw not for team in sig. Still passing. Dont think the drop in picks should be added.

I'm with you, @Captain. I'd make this trade EASILY. Heck, I'd happily give Watkins and 2.03 for Carr alone. With Watkins, you're paying for upside that he has only reached for half a season and may never reach again with a low floor. For Carr, you're only paying middle-of-the-road production costs by giving up Watkins and 2.03.

Easily Carr every time, IMO.

In a 10 man, I'm probably leaning Watkins and 2.03 here. Even more so if you're completely fine at QB this year without Carr and have the ability to wait on a rookie QB to develop. 2.03 likely nets you one of the 1st round QBs from what I've seen.

This is exactly what I meant in my shitty post above.

I'd take the Carr side. At 2.03, even in a 10tm league, at best you're getting Josh Allen. Do you really want to pin your hopes on him not busting? I love Sammy, but in a Superflex this is a no-brainer for me, even in a league this shallow.

Carr by a lot. By midseason, you'll be able to trade him for a better WR.

Sammy Watkins in a new situation with Patrick Mahomes at QB could light up. I wouldn't give him and a seven-pick-higher second round draft pick for Carr. I'd worry about regretting that if the move facilitates his breakout. They're paying Sammy $16 million a year, so they obviously plan to use him. Not clear how Gruden is going to affect Carr either.
QBs: Patrick Mahomes, Trey Lance, Tua Tagovailoa
RB: Jonathan Taylor, Joe Mixon, Saquon Barkley, JK Dobbins, James Conner, Travis Etienne, Tony Pollard, Brian Robinson.
WR: Ja'Marr Chase, A.J. Brown, Deebo Samuel, Jaylen Waddle, Chris Godwin, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool, Chris Olave, Odell Beckham, Josh Palmer
TE: George Kittle, T.J. Hockenson, Taysom Hill, Trey McBride, Isaiah Likely
PK: Nick Folk
(IDPs, start two per week per position):
DL: Danielle Hunter, Myles Garrett, Alex Highsmith, Aidan Hutchinson, Chase Young,
LB: Roquan Smith, C.J. Mosley, Logan Wilson, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoa
DB: Derwin James, Jeremy Chinn, Xavier McKinney, Jalen Pitre

* Ten team league started in 2014.
** 40 player roster, 30 Keepers per season.
*** Red denotes 2022 draft pickups.

There it is. This is the take I agree with.
