Dak for Brady+?

Postby harveyd » Sat Jun 23, 2018 1:58 am

Sup guys, got another superflex trade question for y'all:

Give:
Dak

Get:
Brady
D.Henry or Kerryon

In a 0.5 PPR 12 team superflex, would you guys give up Dak for Brady & either D.Henry or Kerryon Johnson? Having Brady + either RB could hopefully put me over the edge as one of the top title contenders this year - League/team details below:

Superflex/TE Premium, 12 tm, 4 pt Pass TD, 0.5 PPR (1.0 TE), start 1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/1SFLX/1FLX
Goff, Dak, Dalton
Kareem, Mixon, Royce, Hyde, Barber, J.White, Turbin
AB, Keenan, B.Cooks, TY Hilton, Enunwa, Gabriel, Beasley
Ertz, Goedert, Eifert, James, Watson, Seals-Jones

Assuming you are a strong contender this year, I'd do it and take Henry.

Absolutely not. Selling your future for a rental QB and a non-elite RB is a move that you make if/when necessary, not in June.

Seems fair and a good win-now move. I'd prefer Henry over Johnson.

if you wait until mid-season there are several things that could happen:

a: you find out you are not contending
b: you find out you are contending just fine with your current team
c: your or his player(s) could be injured

I agree that it might be wiser to wait till mid-season to see where you stand. You risk the price rising to buy win-now players in season if you are truly contending though.
Too many teams and lineup changes to keep track of them all.
