Laquon Treadwell
I haven't seen much of this guy. Is he worth a first round pick in a 16-team rookie/devy draft?

I would also like to add Ezekial Elliot. So where would you take Treadwell and Elliot in a 16-team rookie/devy draft?

Re: Laquon Treadwell
If rookies are involved too, Treadwell somewhere at 1.05-1.07 I would guess, after Gordon/Gurley/Cooper/Parker and potentially White. With RB's he SHOULD go later, I wouldn't grab him until the 2nd, but his performance in the college playoff will have someone grab him early.captain_insano wrote:I would also like to add Ezekial Elliot. If it's just devy players, Treadwell is probably the 1.01, Elliot somewhere in the top 5.

In a rookie/devy, wouldn't Gurley and Cooper definitely be gone last year? Or am I doing devy wrong? (never done it before)

Re: Laquon Treadwell
My league just changed to devy this fall, our draft was in early Sept. It's superflex, and Treadwell went 1.09. If you take out Mariota and Winston, he would have been 1.07.

This is a new start up league so this years rookies (Gurley, Cooper) will also be in this rookie/devy draft.Lotto4Life wrote:In a rookie/devy, wouldn't Gurley and Cooper definitely be gone last year? Or am I doing devy wrong? (never done it before)

Re: Laquon Treadwell
I'd start considering Treadwell at 5 and Elliot in the 12 -16 range

Re: Laquon Treadwell
If I read it right, Treadwell suffered a fractured tibia and dislocated ankle. Does this change his ranking any for anyone?

Re: Laquon Treadwell
No, it's the only thing depressing his value a bit since he didn't fully break out like he would have.captain_insano wrote:If I read it right, Treadwell suffered a fractured tibia and dislocated ankle. Does this change his ranking any for anyone?
Re: Laquon Treadwell
The fracture wont change anything. As long as he plays all of, or most of, this coming season then he will retain the same amount of value. Kid is a bona fide stud.

Re: Laquon Treadwell
I'm currently watching the games I can find on youtube from 2014 .. he definitely has everything you are looking for trait wise .. catches the ball away from his body, big, fast ..
I've only watched three games so far, season opener vs. Boise State, Louisiana LaFayette, and currently watching Alabama .. Wish I had all 22 film so I could just watch him on every play and see how he is faring against coverage .. but my impression is that Bo Wallace doesn't look for him often enough .. he is impressive when he gets the oppoturnity, but its not like he is taking over any game ..
As I am watching for Treadwell, #10 Sanders is really standing out to me Seems to be the guy Wallace depends on, Core has some nice plays also .. All this may be because Treadwell gets most of the attention from a game plan standpoint, allowing the other Ole Miss WR's more opportunities, but early on so far, I would like to see more from Treadwell. I will be watching in 2015, hope he starts breaking out...
Here are the games I was able to find:
Aug 28: Boise State: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSrLz92aj6s
Sep 13: Louisiana LaFayette (can get a peek at RB McGuire here also, LaFayette game film doesn't come easy, heh): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTKtmBSsCNo
Oct 4: Alabama: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvU_0dk1s_w
Oct 11: @Texas A&M: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-lUY63985g
Oct 25: @LSU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGaP7iZJTeA
Nov 1: Auburn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YczLNCTEaNQ (this is the game he broke is left fibula and dislocated his ankle) ..
Also should add Ole Miss defense is fun to watch, one of the better defenses in college, so good gauge to judge opponents skill players against...

Re: Laquon Treadwell
I think Treadwell will stay as DLF Devy #1 throughout the year as long as there's no re-injury. I'll second the bonafide stud notion. At 6'2" 210 lbs and the way he plays, he reminds me of a mix of Alshon and Dez. And he's only 19!Arkived wrote:The fracture wont change anything.
