Ajayi

Postby captain_insano » Tue Jul 08, 2014 3:39 pm

I had a little free time today and decided to look at draft breakdown. They have some footage of some of the upcoming prospects. So far I just looked at Ajayi and was rather impressed. Anybody out there that's somewhat high on him?

I'd say I'm somewhat high on him, but the problem is there are soooo many good RB's next year that it drops him down. Almost like WR this year, you'll be able to grab a great RB that would normally be a top 3 pick in the 7-12 range.

I have 2 1sts next year in a 8-team league. I'm hoping a lot of these guys come out next year.

Been watching him for 2 yeArs now. He is a HAMMER of a runner with soft hands. IMO Doug Martin x5 . Got him on my devy/taxi squad in one league just waiting for him to beast mode the NFL.

Good first game but he did have a fumble. I noticed in some of the vids he doesn't always protect the ball. If this ends up being an issue, he could drop in the draft.

Agree with this. Just like WR in 2014, the depth toward the second half of the 2015 first round will be very valuable.
I am very high on Ajayi.

Like to see he is racking up the catches so far this year. 23 catches through 4 games matches his career total prior to this season.

I think he ends up 2nd rb off the board.

He looks like a poor man's Le'veon Bell to me, similar size, great balance, but not quite as powerful, quick, or explosive. He's a fumbler and his vision is suspect, but he can also catch which is always a bonus. I have him as the 6th back in the class but that of course is subject to change.

Yeah the more I watch him I can see him being in a role similar to what Bryce Brown is doing in Buffalo.

I haven't seen him able to run up the middle with success. He bounces everything outside, which may work for him in college, but won't in the NFL.

This is probably wrong even with Gurley injury, I'd like to change it to 3rd.
