He still put up numbers, yes. But Ekpre-Olomu won almost every time they matched up. He really struggles against press coverage. In the right system, he could be effective in the NFL, but I just don't like him as a first round talent and it might take him a couple years. Glad to see so many others disagree though. Lots of rookies I'd go after over Cooks.Lotto4Life wrote:If he puts up 10 for 110 and he's getting owned, then sign me up.Sejjr wrote:He is overrated for sure. Of course it might take him a couple of years, do people expect every rookie to win ROY? Do you people play re-draft or Dynasty?Sejjr wrote:He still put up numbers, yes. I play both, but that isn't the point. This is simply a (early) debate on his value, and I think he is overrated compared to some of his rookie peers. I think there are a handful of guys who will produce more than Cooks in their first season...but a LOT depends on where he lands.

I think he'll resemble an Antonio Brown, but he's got Randall Cobb upside. Landing spots and how they'll be used is key though. He'd probably look pretty good in a Bronco uniform.
