Sam Darnold...WOW! Is this a guy that scouts have their eye on or was that just a fantastic college performance by a fantastic college player and nothing more?

He's had a decent amount of buzz all season, I feel like. Huge promise, for sure. Interested to see how he does in 2017 if (once) JuJu declares for the draft.

Heartbroken by the outcome of the game, but he seemed extremely poised, and he executed near-flawlessly, especially in the 4th quarter. Definitely a guy on whom I now have an eye.
The standard is the standard.

He looked good, but it will get more difficult when he faces some defensive backs that actually turn their head to look for the football.

I like his size, poise, and the fact that USC isn't in the shotgun 90% of the darn time. It says a lot that as soon as he was inserted into the line up the team started winning and their best offensive player looked like his old self. It wasn't like he just locked in on JuJu either.
