God damn I just watched some highlights. I mean top tier athleticism for TE position, pretty good hands, but 1) is he going to declare and 2) is he a good blocker?
I would say competing for best TE, but need to see more tape before I declare him the best TE over Howard because he's pretty special in his own respect.

I like him and it would be quite a nice bump for this class if he comes out. I've been operating as though he returns to school, for no good reason other than it's my default this time of year.

Have you read that he intends to declare?

Ive only heard that he should be included in our mocks and he has a chance to be taken inside the top 50. Nothing else

Saw him in two games. Checks box on athleticism and hands. Needs to work on blocking. But could be a move tight end similar to use of Jordan Reed. Could bulk up in NFL weight room and program to improve in line blocking. Interesting prospect, but last I heard he was likely heading back to school for another year (about a month ago).

Other name to monitor for tight end is kid out of Ashland University. Adam Shaheen. 6'6 277 pound former basketball player. Has 57 catches and 900+ yards with 16 TDs THIS year. Granted small school but kid was 6'2 and 160 pounds as sophomore shooting guard in high school. Grew 4 inches and was 6'6 200 lbs when graduated so suffice to say has filled out frame. Great movement in limited clips I have seen. Anyone else heard about or seen this guy as well?

Njoku is coming out supposedly.

This is the best tight end class I've ever seen. Absolutely stacked.

Howard
Njoku
Engram
Butt
Hodges
Roberts
Leggett
(the guy the poster above mentioned who I need to look into)

Talk about depth. There's also small school TE Jonnu Smith and Gerald Everett that look like very good prospects

Jonnu Smith's old lady threw boiling hot water or coffee in his face and he didnt deck her... He is a good egg. Dont forget about Adam Breneman and Jeremy Sprinkle. Im begininng to think it my be a smart move to go TE if you dont have a top high end pick. 1.08 on and try to get 1 or 2 of these guy before round 3

Dude, he looks like a Gates clone, while Howard looks like Tony Gonzalez lite. I'm buying Njoku, former high jump national champ, lol. He's gonna be sick.

Checked most if not all the boxes at the Combine and real chance at going in NFL first round or early second at the latest. Dynasty also looking to be late first/early second round pick. Good call on this guy :-)
