Steelers fan started ito off. I am going with a player I think is every bit as good and has been more productive than Fournett. Let's get the Dalvin Cook love going.

And out of casts and walking boots. Could stand to gain 10 lbs to hold up to the NFL grind.

I think his weight is fine. He has a good build to him to withstand hits.

As far as Cook, I have him rated slightly higher than Fournette as of now(taking off field stuff out of it). More explosive and a lot less stiff than Fournette. His vision is the only real knock I have on him.

Fun to watch. Looking forward to really studying him.
Initial impression is that he has elite-level juice to explode through the second level and the long speed to outrun world class athletes.
I know he's been banged up at times, but I wouldn't be looking for him to add weight. I'd rather see him stay where he's at and keep his elite traits at an elite level. If he adds too much mass I'd be worried about him losing a bit of what makes him special.

Well said.

Is it crazy that I watch him and keep thinking of Marshawn Lynch? Maybe a love child of Beast Mode & Jamaal Charles...?

I don't care what NFL team drafts him, I don't see how he's not the 1.01 pick in all 2017 rookie drafts.

Lung, what about Cook makes him head and shoulders above Fournette?

Imo, its just the overall " eyetest" this year ...... more stats more tape consistent production an dual threat .... pass catching/pass protection ..... not saying more talent but to butt in an answer your question I'd say thats why the pendulum is swinging with some people. Not sure if the stats out there but anyone know how many times last year fournette was assigned a pass blocking only roll?

He was a beast in the Orange Bowl against a Michigan defense that has almost as much talent as Alabama. His ability to hit the home run is astounding.

Performance against elite college defenses. When Fournette faced teams like Alabama he got stuffed and couldn't out-athletic them like he could with I-AA teams. Cook has far more wiggle and more ability to make defenders miss.

In my eyes Cook can make more out of nothing than Fournette, who needs a bit of a runway to maximize his HWS advantage.
An NFL team that believes it can consistently create room probably prefers Fournette.
An NFL team with a bad/cheap OL, or a scheme that calls for a lot of shotgun, should prefer Cook.

I like both, but prefer Cook.

I have the #1 pick in one league and am looking to take advantage of the Fournett bias and trade with the 1.2 owner. Getting a 2nd or 3rd rounder and getting the better RB is the plan.

Cook Imogen s just more explosive than Fournett and has proven his explosiveness versus elite teams. He is a true home run hitter. He is the top player and my sure fire 1.1
