RB Scouting 2017

Postby alewilliam789 » Fri May 20, 2016 12:11 pm

For all those teams, like me, that are RB needy I'm going to be doing a bunch of single game video breakdowns for RBs. I'm doing this early just so dynasty league owners can get a better grasp of the prospects coming into the 2017.
These are the backs I'm going to be doing videos on in order of my ranking. These ranks don't include prospects that I'm not too fond of like RB Semaje Perine:
1. Leonard Fournette LSU
2. Dalvin Cook FSU
3. Nick Chubb Georgia
4. Wayne Gallman Clemson
5. Jalen Hurd Tennessee
6. Christian McCaffrey Stanford
7. Marlon Mack USF
8. De'Veon Smith Michigan
9. Brian Hill Wyoming
10. Demario Richard Arizona State
11. Elijah Hood North Carolina
12. Royce Frreman Oregon
13. Elijah McGuire Lousiana-Lafeyette
14. Corey Clement Wisconsin
These rankings are based off the ability for back to be a 3-Down running back in the NFL. Royce Freeman and Elijah Hood are similar players that are fantastic downhill runners with very little wiggle and that's why they aren't in my top 10.

Here's the link to my first video. I'm going to be posting a lot of videos in these next upcoming weeks so subscribe!!

I'm assuming you're looking at these with ppr in mind?

You're welcome Steeler'sfan!! Also yes it is PPR and I'm sure why you're wondering why Christian McCaffrey isn't in the top 5. The reason is because I'm not exactly sold on him being a full fledged 3-down back in the NFL, but a Reggie Bush-type player that needs to be paired with a thumper to be completely effective. Like I said my rankings are based on how their frame, skills, and athletic abilities project as a every down back that can maintain their production in the NFL.
