Cool, put him on your list. I'll try to get to him tonight also and we can compare notes when you do him

I sense Garrett will wind up a target player of mine.
Some of his game is reminiscent of Treadwell and other parts remind of Doctson, so I see him as a cost-effective version of both.

WR9 (or so) pre-combine. Very interested to see how he tests.

91 catches last year and lead the FBS in Yards with over 1500. He also roasted Virgina Tech who puts out starting CBs every year. The thing is, you have to look into his targets. This game he had 26 targets for 137 yards and 1 td. Hard to see that at the NFL level. Bradon Marshall had 28 targets once. Only player I can remember right off hand

From my draft notes: Keyarris Garret, WR Tulsa (6'4 220)**** Big guy who plays big. Not explosive speed but can get going, not a ton of agility but quick enough on routes to get enough separation to put himself in position to make the catch. Has a knack for acrobatic catches. Lots of Calvin Johnson/Treadwell comparisons.

I watched a little tape on him, for a later round pick I like him a lot. I'll be looking for him in the 3rd or 4th round.

Good stuff! I think his measured athleticism at the combine will ultimately help me decide whether I"m projecting him outside like a poor man's Alshon or if I see him as more of an impact big slot. Right now I think he has the frame and game to play in either spot.

I was impressed with his movement skills running the slant (for example) but he's not a stop on a dime kind of athlete. He's not quite the bully that Treadwell is (very few are) but he plays big. That's good, because right now I see him as a contested catch point kind of player, not a breaking you down and running wide open kind of player.
