Zeke or Fournette?

Postby Swampdonkey17 » Thu Jan 07, 2016 3:30 pm

What's your view on talent? I'm gonna guess Fournette wins here but would you rather have Zeke definitely now or a real good CHANCE to get Fournette?

I'd rather have Zeke now. I like his PPR upside as well

I see Fournette as a generational talent. Zeke is just a really good all around back IMO. Maybe the better all around game gives Zeke the fantasy advantage, but give me the buyou bulldozer.

Let's hope it pans out like that. I always like the power running backs because I feel they are bound to rumble and bumble down the field with yards after contact. I can see that with LF.

I see more Matt Forte than Frank Gore to EE but Doug Martin is another good one

Since I play PPR - would rather have Zeke locked and loaded than a "chance" at Fournette.

Fournette wouldn't even be a lock for you it sounds like.

A chance at LF still would be Chubb, Cook, Mcaffrey, or Perine as a consolation. I like Chubb and Cook more than Zeke atm and it's hard to ignore the numbers Mcaffrey and Perine have put up.

love to own the 1:1 or 1:2 as I think the chance to maximize the value for 2017 draft is absurd , I really like cook hood and perine and could trade down and still get foundational rb plus whatever else you can get to trade down to as low as the 1:5 and still get one of other guys . That is assuming of course that chubb can get back to full value which is a big assumption today.

I am surprised is so lopsided in favor of Fournette. I don't see him as the generational talent he is being touted as here. Very good prospect; not on the level of Gurley/Elliott/healthy Chubb for me. Dalvin Cook could push him as well. Elite downhill runner yet I could see him having to struggle if he's behind an offensive line which does not generate consistent push in the run game. Not great laterally, and think his vision is just average.

All this said, think Fournette is a good pro. Did not blink when selecting Elliott, however.

I think the Poll showing Fournette so high over Zeke is very telling as to how little tape people watch. The answer is Zeke.
