I'm inclined to agree with this... There were plenty of other owners who were not impacted at all by any of this and could have bid on Garoppolo. So I don't know how this could be considered "price fixing".Xulu Bak wrote: ↑Tue Jul 31, 2018 7:00 am
Collusion has two components. The first, two or more parties conspiring, clearly exists here. The second, in this instance, would have to be "price fixing," but two parties can't really "price fix" in an open market bidding situation where 14 other parties are free to partake.
While this is maybe not an ideal situation (and we should possibly address it in next year's rule changes), I don't think it constitutes collusion..
