While it was close to the deadline and that sometimes pisses people off, it's a perfectly legal bid.

I know it's legal, that's not my point. I had no clue it was that close. I'm not retracting my bid because I goofed, I'm retracting the bid due too sportsmanship. If possible let the owner make the call. I don't play the game like that.
