2017 Season Discussion

Postby TrueDawg » Sun Aug 20, 2017 7:26 pm

Figured I'd start this thread since we're getting close to the season... and I'll start off by saying I know I'm behind on updates and generally haven't been around much. But I just finished a 10-day stretch where I worked nearly 100 hours at my part-time job, on top of like 50 at my regular job.

I'll get things updated ASAP.

Pretty excited about this year. Couldn't be happier with my team, as long as Gurley gets it going again. Hopefully Goff and the new coach helps with that.

Good luck everyone :D

I was feeling pretty good about my team until preseason happened!

Zeke suspended, Fournette out with an injured foot, my WRs ailing (Brown, Perriman, Doctson).

Could be a slow start for TDU!

I am very excited about my team this season...

I have my favorite player at QB, my stud WR that I have sold a couple of cars to and been to his house several times, Sanu his hadcuff that may also put up good numbers on his own, Forte is back after a 1 season break (hopefully the Jets feed him exclusively), AP & Ginn will be big weapons for Brees. My scat backs (Lewis & Sproles) are looking good. Cobb should have a good year as well as Miller (with Fuller's injury).

Good luck everyone!! :D

Going to be a very interesting season for my team...I'll be relying heavily on my WRs with only one legitimate RB (Ajayi). Was hoping Booker would emerge as the starter in Denver but then he got hurt. I think Foreman can carve out a role in Houston (Miller is not a bellcow back). Williams could be money if Shady misses any games.

Could be a slow start for me with Luck iffy for the start of the season...although Goff has looked solid in the preseason and in McVay's offense, I'm hoping he can at least not be a dumpster fire if I need to start him early.

I have no idea what I have...I did want Foreman in the draft, he's gonna be a stud. C.Samuel is a wildcard type pick,
Pumphrey isn't ready. I'm a Falcons fan and Breida is D. Freeman minus , needs to add 10 lbs. Big fan of Shanny's OF game plan in Frisco, Hyde will get hurt...Next man up.

Ty Montgomery....? Got me. I must have been drinking to spend that much, I'm a value shopper...Well I was.

Wr Hogan, could be special, but the Pat's always bring out some guy from the basement that excels. Wish I would have drafted A TE in this draft. Robby Anderson, should have some good games, when????. Gabriel will be traded next year, probably to to the 9er's. Landry boring, Pryor I have big hopes for.

D couldn't be more elated watching you Bozo's spend that much money on a D was worth the price of admission. As was watching Wyndam having a Kicker and D orgasm. It's proven K's and D's win league titles :nono:

Ohh and to the dumbazz that spent 30 K on a back up QB, just to wreck the structure of the QB's value in this league...Well you get a big Fyou for pulling that shiot. If I was running this league you would be a long lost memory, I see what you did.

It's been quite a while since I was an underdog in a divisional game yet here we are in game one of the season. Seems the vast improvement of my divisional foes combined with the hemorrhaging of several franchise players over the past few years could finally catch up to me this season.

Fire sale is a definite possibility if things go south.

Good luck all!
