Perfect example of why we need to go back to draft picks costing a lot of money. Stupidest bleep thing I've ever seen.
No offense meant Monkey, but you have the highest paid QB in the league, you trying to ruin the structure of the league? I'm the only one that will say it, but others are asking me, so I'm asking you. WTF
It makes no tactical sense at all, other than you just trying to bleep up the league.
Never mind, it's ok it's within the rules, but your integrity just got blown out the window with more than half the league. Go eat a banana or something, throw your bleep somewhere else.
I feel better.

Yeah pretty dumb, but within the league rules. You already had rivers at a good number. Oh well.

I don't see the problem. He had the cap space and went after the best available player with it.citsalp1 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2017 12:40 am Perfect example of why we need to go back to draft picks costing a lot of money. Stupidest bleeping thing I've ever seen.

In regards to qb pay structure. Why should he care how much is costs to franchise a qb next year? He's just gotta worry about his team.
Re: UFA: Tyrod Taylor, QB, Buff
Yeah what's the issue? Does anyone think Kirk Cousins is worth the money Washington is paying him? How about Albert Haynesworth? Or Tavon Austin? Players get overpaid every year, and QBs dominate this league...Tyrod was a top 10 player last year (overall...not just a top 10 QB). Maybe people are finally figuring out how valuable QBs are in this league. Several of us tried to tone down QB scoring this offseason but it was shot down.jimscafs25 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2017 4:27 am I don't see the problem. Also, EFF rookies making more money... the NFL finally figured out that the top rookies were making too much money considering they hadn't played a down in the NFL yet. And we followed suit. It frees up more money to be paid to veterans who have actually proven they can play... which is the exact intent of the rookie wage scale. I can't see how that's a bad thing.
I think this is too much for Tyrod... but it's not my money. I thought the same thing when someone bid 50k on Calvin Johnson a few years ago. Dez Bryant was paid 60k last year. I don't recall anyone complaining about that.
