2017 Draft Discussion Thread
As usual, please do not discuss players who have not yet been selected.
Re: 2017 Draft Discussion Thread
Hoping Fournette and Zeke forms a very nice 1-2 punch for years to come.
I think I would've taken Mixon ahead of Cook
1.06 is on the block (not for too long), send offers through

Re: 2017 Draft Discussion Thread
I like Mixon's talent better but he worries me a bit off the field. Sortof a tossup for me. I like Cook too.
Re: 2017 Draft Discussion Thread
Yeah...Bengals offense should be better than MIN too, although it's hard to say how their line will perform after losing Whitworth and Zeitler. Cook might have a clearer path to the starting lineup too. I dunno...I think Hill is a bum and Gio is coming off an injury.
Like I said...bit of a tossup for me. If I had to make the choice I'd have probably taken Mixon.

Kind of surprised to see Davis go ahead of both Cook and Mixon. I like him a lot as a prospect, but just figured the top 4 picks would have gone all rb.
As to Mixon vs. Cook, its definitely a toss up. I personally gave the edge to Cook, since i think his path to starting is much clearer.

Re: 2017 Draft Discussion Thread
Davis has the chance to be the top WR in an up and coming Titans team, I really like my pick there.
Re: 2017 Draft Discussion Thread
I can't fault taking Davis after the top 2 RBs were gone...at that point it would depend on need for me. He needs both and that Titans offense should be legit.

I like Davis a lot, so I don't necessarily think it was a bad pick. I just felt that the value there was at rb.

Eh...I think the RB position is pretty deep.jimscafs25 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 25, 2017 6:42 pm I like Davis a lot, so I don't necessarily think it was a bad pick. I just felt that the value there was at rb.

Re: 2017 Draft Discussion Thread
I was back and forth forth beteeen Mixon and cook. We aren't ppr so i didn't factor catching passes. I think cook starts quicker and I just like him a lot. We shall see tho.
In previous years I drafted Kevin smith over Chris Johnson so let's hope I didn't make that mistake again here.
I was shocked with the Davis. I asked about swapping pick there to take cook. WEre you that nervous i was going to take Davis there?

Re: 2017 Draft Discussion Thread
I think Fournette is pretty clearly the #1 talent; however, that talent comes with the question of how well he'll hold up with his style of play. After that, I think there's as little separating #2 through about #10 (in a good way) as any draft I can remember. Of course, some of those guys have bigger question marks than others, aside from talent.
Re: 2017 Draft Discussion Thread
Agreed...this isn't one of those drafts with 1-2 studs and then a big dropoff after the first handful of picks. I feel like at least the first 10-12 picks (maybe more) have a shot to be pretty good players.Xulu Bak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 7:00 am I think Fournette is pretty clearly the #1 talent; however, that talent comes with the question of how well he'll hold up with his style of play. I'm anxious to see how the first round plays out.
