IMO, it was a strange UFA season. There is still over $250k in salary cap not spent. We had some TE's, K's & DEF's go for record salaries and some very high producing QB's (which is the highest scoring position) go for incredibly low amounts. This may have an effect on this league for a few seasons.

Overall I am satisfied with my team this year. Knowing what I know now I would have been more aggressive with getting a 2nd QB and would have bid higher on some of the high dollar FA's . I am excited to see what Jimmy G does at QB the first 4 weeks.

Nah, looking forward to my 4th championship.

On paper it's hard to bet against 1 of ICU, myself and HCR. But I'm sure the myriad of in-season changes and so forth will shake it up. Hopefully the best team wins in the end.

Oh yeah. Just like those 9-win Giants teams. They were the best team in the league, right?

I was gonna write "for a change", because it felt like we'd had some fluke runs in this league, but after looking it was just last year. Dre's teams were rock solid. I also noticed my title team from a few years ago was beastly. And Jim himself had a very stacked team that won. So hopefully it was just last year.

Haha, that's funny. I finished 4th in points last year. You finished 8th in points the year you won...

I think my team will be good enough to make the playoffs this year if my RBs can manage to stay healthy. It's a big if but if I get decent production from Matthews and Foster I should be able to compete with anyone.

I always thought winning games was more important than accumulating points? I guess that's only true in other leagues, not this one.
