2016 Rule Change Summary Thread

These are the rule changes that will take effect for the 2016 season.

• Beginning week 1 of 2016, players who play in TNF games (even if you don't start them) will be locked on your roster at the start of the game and cannot be dropped until after the FCFS deadline of 1:00 PM eastern on Sunday.
• Franchise and Transition tags may be rescinded under 2 conditions: 1) Bidding has not ended on the player, and 2) the player has not received any bids
• Beginning with the 2016 draft, 2nd and 3rd round picks will no longer receive fully guaranteed contracts, and will also no longer be eligible for the 5th year option.
• Beginning with the 2016 season, the practice squad will be eliminated and a roster spot will be added. Per usual, the first transaction of our league year is to either promote or cut all players from the practice squad. We will do that in 2016 and then the practice squad will disappear.
