I thought about drafting him at that spot, but I think he may be a bust, I hope I'm wrong.

I mean, at that point in the draft, why not take a shot? I'm all about the upside vs. the cost. I've had first rounders who were busts...I won't lose any sleep over a late 2nd busting.sprtsfrk208 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 6:34 pm I thought about drafting him at that spot, but I think he may be a bust, I hope I'm wrong.
There's a couple other players I like still on the board...one of whom will likely be there when I pick again. I'm pretty sure Trubisky wouldn't have been.

Even a bust QB is going to produce more points than any other player here. You've got guys like Garbage Time Blake Bortles, Alex Smith, heck even a 7th round turd like Trevor Siemian put up some points. Maybe he's just a fantasy backup for his rookie contract, that's an awesome pick here for the cap savings it creates.
People are unnecessarily down on this kid IMO. I really don't know dick about him, but he was the 2nd overall pick, miles ahead of some of these guys, and yeah Chicago sucks RIGHT NOW, but things change fast in the NFL. I guess we'll see how it goes.
BTW, 2018 3rd to anyone OTC who doesn't wanna pick.

Re: LeDraft
My biggest concern with Trubisky isn't him and isn't the Bears' talent, it's how poorly the people running the show are handling him. It's hard to succeed if you aren't given the opportunity. Also, him being #2 overall was absurd.

18th & 19th 3rd round picks for OTC pick...
Re: LeDraft
Happy to get Henderson at 3.06. Dude is a baller and a beast after the catch. He could get a lot of catches out of the slot. I actually considered him and Gerald Everett at 2.13 after acquiring in the pick. But I felt one of them would make it to 3.06 and I knew Trubisky wouldn't. Just throwing a dart with Chad Williams. Arizona is begging for a WR to step up with Floyd gone and Fitzgerlad retiring soon. Palmer's looming retirement clouds it a bit but...

Would've taken Henderson at 3.07. He is definitely a baller.
