The league has voted to impost stiffer penalties for cutting players during the same offseason in which they're signed. Please select one of the following penalties

40% Cap Penalty
100% Cap Penalty
100% Cap Penalty split 50/50 between current and following season

The above portion will need to be decided by highest %

Also please vote yes or no to limit that player to a 1 year contract if they are resigned by the team that cut them during the offseason they had originally signed them.

I'm very much in favor of limiting contract lengths for players added then cut the added again during the same off season. This would eliminate the possibility of cutting a player only to re-sign him for a cheaper price on a long term contract.

I think 100% is too much. 40% might be too low...I'd probably vote for something in between if it was an option. That said, I'll vote for 40%. We can try it out and if it still seems too low, we can increase it again, rather than going to the extreme of 100%.

I vote yes to limit the contract length if the player is resigned by the same team later.

I'm willing to change my vote to 40% since that is what at least 7 of the owners want and the best I could do is tie which really doesn't help anything. Let's just go with 40% and move on.
