Which LBs to keep next season

Still a few weeks left to decide (all IR moves have to be completed by end of week 17) but can only carry over four LBs for next season.

My linebacker group is below and can only keep four
J Beason (IR)
D Bishop
R McCLain
D Jackson
D Hawthorne

Scoring for LBs is 1 pt for tackle, .5 for assist, 2 for QB sack (plus 1 for tackle), 3 for INT, 1 for fumble recovery, 6 for touchdown, 2 for creating safeties.

Would drop McClain, pretty easy choice to me, beason, bishop, Jackson are beast #1 lbers and Hawthorne is a lowend #1 high 2, McClain is garbage, not even in the same universe as the others

I'm not a supporter of Hawthorne, or the Seattle D. They had a great game against the sucky Rams this week though.

Very tough decision you have. I'd lose Beason for sure (can't stay healthy). I'd keep Bishop for sure.

Beason is always injured, I'd cut him and let someone else deal with him. I'm also not as high on Hawthorne as some, so he can go as well... but I'd keep the other three for sure.

HAwthorne would be my choice....Beason would be next! He has talent but can't stay healthy...

Update to original question posted as I was able to pick up Colin McCarthy for Rolando McClain (the gun incident was enough for me to drop him) a few weeks ago based on IDP info forum feedback. Today is the final roster cuts for the 2011 season and now need to drop either Hawthorne or Beason to get down to 4 LBs. Would assume the overall suggestions have been to keep Desmond Bishop and D’Qwell Jackson as well as McCarthy. Leaning towards Hawthorne as Beason has a lot value if he can get back to form and get over the achilles injury (big maybe).

I would drop Hawthorne as we don't know what team he will be with in 2012.

I would keep three and drop Beason and Hawthorne if I had someone at a different position to protect....

Just dropped Hawthorne a few minutes ago. League is set up with max. (4) for LBs so it had to be one of the two. If I dropped both I can not fill that open player slot with another player from a different position. I wish I could as I have to drop a WRs today as well and decideding between G. Little and M. Williams (TB).

Only a 10 team league and you only s tart 2 LB's... I'd rather have either of those WR's then Beason at this time. Beason's injury history makes him not worth what those WR's are. If that's the choice... you keep the WR.
