Week 5 Giant LB: Boley or Williams?

Postby meineymoe » Sun Oct 09, 2011 8:17 am

Pick one to start: the steady vet Michael Boley, or the rookie out of nowhere, Jacquian Williams???
1 pt tackle, 3 pt sack, 1 pt pass defense, 4 pt INT, 2 pt FF or FR.

I think that scoring format is borderline "big play" scoring. Might go with Boley in that format. But I am kicking myself for not picking up Williams in Charter League, which I Think is more tackle heavy, been a while since I looked at the scoring lol.

Boley and Williams both ended up scoring 8 points in the above scoring system. Now they both get to start this week with Mayo injured.

With so many IDP scoring systems that I play in, I just try to load up on the across-the-board studs.

Looks like Williams is now a starter for me in the DLFV going forward.

2 pts a tackle, 1pt assist, 5pt sack (+ fumb cause/recover, int, pass def, no TFL but oh well).
scored so far:
Williams: 3, 12, 20, 13, 17
Boley: 10.260, 21.3, 12, 16, 15

Obviously Boley had a bigger role early, but Williams seems to be getting more and more responsibility.
