DBs

Postby Angus Osborne » Fri Sep 23, 2011 4:47 pm

My first year of IDP. Which DBs should I play this week?

4 of
Quintin Mikell (BAL)
Chris Houston (@MIN)
Louis Delmas (@MIN)
Bob Sanders (KC)
Michael Huff (NYJ)
Malcolm Jenkins (HOU)

I haven't really figured out what to expect in terms of production. I guess you want big plays first (especially sacks in my league) and after that lots of work, but conceding points isn't actually important. Can't get my head around it.

TIA.
12 team non-PPR
QB: Rivers, Alex Smith, Kaepernick
RB: Rice, Peterson, BJGE, M Bush, Jennings, Royster
WR: Colston, Bowe, VJax, Tampa Mike, Amendola, Doug Baldwin, Braylon Edwards
TE: Witten, Martellus Bennet, Moeaki
K: Nugent
DL: Dumervil, Ngata, Mincey, Michael Bennett, Michael Johnson
LB: Fletcher, Greenaway, Boley, David Harris, DJ Williams, Brandon Spikes, Kruger, Jerry Hughes
DB: Patrick Peterson, Kerry Rhodes, Mikell, Chris Houston, Brandon Tayler, Iloka

I like to start guys who get tackles first, so that you are at least getting some points, since big plays aren't always a weekly event.

i also play what ones will get u takles, your going about it the wrong way if u are counting on sacks from any db and based on tackles id go with jennings, mikell and huff but the last one is a toss up i expect both kc an min to be losing most the game and so i see alot of passes coming in those games, so probably houston

yikes, I meant to bold Huff and Jenkins - must have gone up with my cursor instead of down when highlighting... Sanders is doubtful so surely don't want to play him... I was torn between Houston, who's producing so far, and Delmas, who is due for a big play, and the Vikes is a good place to get it.

Actually, could start both Lions, in case Huff is limited again...
