As much as you can get for him or as little as you can pay for him.
But in reality... that's an extremely open ended question. I don't even know if you are buying or selling. Picks or players or combination? Any chance of adding a little more info on what you want to accomplish?

Sure. I am looking to buy. I would like to pay pick(s) only and offered a 2nd which was rejected. i am debating offering a 1st for him but Im sure if that would be overpaying. I have a shot at the championship (I think) and need a LB1 badly. He wants either MJD or Mendenhall which I am not willing to do.
My LB now are:
Curry, A
Davis, T
Foster, M
Harrison, J
Hill, L
Wake, C
Thanks for the reply.

I would have thought a second rounder would have been a decent offer. MJD and Mendy are obviously worth waaaaaaay more then Hawthorne or any other LB. If I was giving a late first I'd would be looking to get a half decent pick back in return myself with Hawthrone. I wouldn't trade a first that I thought could be mid to top of the draft in a deal for Hawthrone.
