Kam Chancellor

Postby Lumps » Wed Aug 03, 2011 7:17 pm

(Rotoworld) Kam Chancellor is working as the Seahawks' starting strong safety in training camp. Analysis: Coach Pete Carroll has left open the door for Lawyer Milloy to be re-signed, but the Seahawks' offseason philosophy hasn't been to keep aging veterans who "block" youngsters. We appreciate that. At 6'3/232, Chancellor was projected as a linebacker by many teams leading up to the 2010 draft. Milloy had 88 tackles last season, so this can be a highly productive position.

Earl Thomas pretty much sealed Chancellor's fate as far as fantasy production goes. The safety position on a Seattle team struggling with QB issues can be a productive one for Fantasy owners though. DB's are hit and miss enough as it is, especially with another stud DB sharing the secondary.

Earl plays free. Milloy was relevant, so Kam should be in the same spot.

I can't make heads or tails out of whether he signed with the Titans or the Seahawks. Reports both ways. Doesn't matter, he's backing up at FS at a significantly reduced salary.

With that horrid offense, I'd expect big numbers from Kam, just like yesterday.

I agree, dude will be a solid IDP especially in tackle-heavy leagues.

I just lost Eric Berry, I have a waiver claim on Kam as we speak. Lets hope it clear!
