Ngakoue value

Postby IR1 » Tue Apr 02, 2019 9:36 am

Just wanted to where everyone is valuing him. Like him a lot 2 years ago hoping to see improvement last year but seemed to plateau. Has he reached his ceiling or will he improve now the Fowler is gone all year?

Have Mark Ingram on the trade block and the only offer I received is for Ngakoue straight up

He’s not much of a run defender, and thus will not be getting many tackles, but he’s a really nice sack artist.

How many points did Dunlap and Buckner get in your league last year?

Dunlap 229
Buckner 382 (DT tackles are 4 pts vs 2 pts for DE)
Hunter 330
Ngakoue 199

Don't really need him, but if there's a chance he makes a big jump this year, he'd be another nice piece to hold. Thanks for input!

That’s some really solid scoring for DLs! In that case, I would take Ngakoue probably

I’m holding Ingram over Ngakoue myself in a league with comparable scoring. The peaks and valleys are too much to give up workhorse RBs.

^ good post.

He's too inconsistent. You won't want to actually start him for fear of the 1 pt games.

Thanks for input. Getting the sense we think he’s at his ceiling without much room for improvement.

Hey guys,

I'm a brand new writer at DLF with a focus in IDP and analytics. I saw this post and actually came up with a brand new metric in my first week here that LOVES Ngakoue in the (limited) opportunity he has gotten so far (https://twitter.com/RyanMillerNFL/statu ... 1769145345). In terms of past IDP production he hasn't been sensational, but with Calais Campbell aging out he could be a sneaky buy and stash. Hope this helps!

Why was his Disruption Score such an outlier during his age 23 year? As an Ngakoue owners, I’m intrigued but a little skeptical since it was so much higher than anyone else.

So he's available on trade bait. Don't really need him, wondering if anyone has seen any trades involving him. How much/little would you pay?
