Coaching changes

Postby TB3falcons » Tue Jan 08, 2019 11:07 am

Figure we should make a thread on coaching changes and how it’s going to affect IDPs.

Apparently if Arians gets the Bucs job, Bowles will be his DC. Bowles runs a 3-4 (as did Arians in ARI) so scheme change will likely occur.

Guess I should be selling my JPP shares.

And sadly it looks like Bradley Chubb will remain at OLB with Fangio heading to Denver...

I wonder if Bowles will cater to his personel in Tampa and stay 4-3. It would be a tough transition, but I suppose given their current performance it may not truly make that big a difference...

Chubb will almost certainly be staying OLB.

If Vance Joseph goes to NY I would assume he would maintain the 3-4 that is currently employed.

Wonder if the Cards take Bosa (which would make him a OLB :( ) or Q Williams (now a DE :( )

Can’t imagine they’ll be taking Jonah Williams #1 after getting manhandled by Ferrell

What are people’s thoughts on Carl Nassib and the TB defense under Bowles. Nassib was great the back half of 2018,l and appears to have possibly found his footing. However, with Bowles now in town I feel he will be bring the 3-4 and make Nassib an uninspiring DE. Now has to be the time to sell, right? 3-4 DE will be the end of him despite his size? Or hold in hopes of greener pastures for 2020 in Free Agency?

I always liked him as a 34 end, he has a nice build for it. It's a pass league anyway so he'll be let loose plenty by Bowles.

Read an article about how Greg Williams will likely convert the Jets to a 4-3, which has limited positional impact likely, except potentially Leonard Williams going to DT. In DT mandatory and premium leagues this will be a nice boost to value IMO.

Williams is interesting if he gets DT tag...

My guess is that Avery Williamson is still a decent LB hold in Greg Williams’s 4-3D as well.

This is a nice boost for Williamson. Lee can shift outside and get some protection which suits him well. He's a space LB, now he'll have it.

Was just looking NYJ changes and the impact on Williams. I have him in start 2 DL leagues so figure it's likely time to sell.

Saw a rumor today that the Panthers might switch to a 3-4

If the Chiefs hire Spagnuolo as is rumored, there would be major changes. Probably Chris Jones to DT, Houston to DE and Dee Ford either let walk in free agency or DE

Does this end the Markus Golden experiment at DE then too?
