How does everyone think the move to Wade Phillips' 3-4 defense will affect the value of Mario Williams?

How does everyone think the move to Wade Phillips' 3-4 defense will affect the value of Mario Williams?

Right now I'd suspect that it should elevate him to #1 if listed as a DE, and LB2 if listed as a LB.

Depends if he ends up the WOLB or the DE. If he's playing the DE position, I'd put him as a DL2. I don't think his stats will be as good as it was in the 4-3. At WOLB, his stats would be good, but his designation as a LB would likely make him maybe a low LB2 or high LB3. I'd say he's more likely a LB3 though.

If you own him, cross your fingers and hope that Houston uses their senses and trade him to a 4-3 team once there is football. He's in the last year of his contract, so he walks at the end of the year to a 4-3 team anyway. They might as well get soemthing for him this year before he leaves next year.
