Just curious if he is the future starting MLB in Cinci? I believe he was their starting MLB before he went on IR. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
He was solid in Buffalo, but I admittedly didn’t pay much attention to him in Cincinatti. Doesn’t look like he was super effective.
He was dropped in one of the leagues I am rebuilding and he is only 26. We have deep rosters and pretty deep starting requirements (offense and idp). Brown is still pretty young and if he is starting MLB, then I don’t see why I shouldn’t grab him.

Edit: Just saw he was an UDFA after the season. Does this help or hurt his stock? Or is there just too much uncertainty around him at this point?

If he is free, I think he is worth a speculative add. He could very well return Josh Bynes type value next season.
