Which DE

Postby buckysGT » Fri Oct 12, 2018 10:17 am

Normally roll out C. Jordan, but he’s on bye.

I picked up Weatherly vs Arizona. But now I’m contemplating if i should grab Hughes @ Hou instead.

Thoughts?

2 pt/tackle and 2pts/sack.

I would go with Hughes even though Weatherly is playing a decently higher percentage of his teams snaps the past two weeks (Weatherly is 82-92% and Hughes has been 66%-69%). But, Hughes has 9 tackles and a sack compared to Weatherly's 2 tackles with 1 sack (and FF) over those two games. The Texans have also been FAR more friendly in giving out points to DE's this year (especially compared to the Cards).

Hughes all day. Not only has he been producing but Houston has an atrocious OL and give up a lot of sacks. Hughes is a strong play this week.

Do you think you need a homerun with Hughes or a safer floor with Weatherly?

I'd argue Hughes has a safer floor this week than Weatherly. Not only has Hughes out produced Weatherly, but he's going up against a worst OL as well.

Hughes.. Arizona is a terrible matchup all around for IDP. They struggle to reach 40 plays every week. Hughes should see more opportunities and a higher snap total

Being down 71 - 10 already, I can't afford any weak spots.
