General Sleeper/Waiver Gems Thread

Figured this forum could use one of these topics. Hopefully can be used as discussion topic for potential sleepers and waiver wire gems.

Got 2 players in mind for the first post:

Sleeper: Efe Obada- had a good game in his 1st ever regular season action in week 3 against the Bengals. Pro player from England that has bounced around some practice squads for the past few years before making the Panthers 53 this year. He has never played college ball and only has 6 years of football experience. Played 19 snaps, got a sack and an interception. Not adding him yet, but wanting to see if he gets some more play time. Gotta assume he has some off the chart measurables to stick around being as raw as he is.

Waiver Gem: I'd guess Richards is on a lot of waivers still if he's available in my 53 roster, 16 team league. Thinking about dropping Colbert for him or at least dropping one of my Taxi guys like Demarcus Robinson or Trenton Cannon for him. Should be the Falcons starting SS for the rest of the season barring a FA pick up or even less likely trade.

Im in a 16 team 44 man roster salary cap league that starts 1 DT 2 DE 3 LB 2 CD 1 S and 1 Flex. My team isnt very good so ive been slowly weeding out the older medicore players and hitting the WW hard looking for young cheap lottery tickets.

After week 1 i took DJ Reader (Bennie Logan) and Kentrell Brice (Adrian Phillips) both for $1.

Last week i grabbed Sam Hubbard (Derek Wolfe) and Carlton Davis (Aquib Talib)for $1 each.

This week i took Dalvin Tomlinson, Tre Flowers (The Seahawks CB not the Patriots DE) and the aforementioned Obada, again all for $1. I had some extra roster spaces so none of this weeks adds required a drop.
