Is he going to be starting? Is he worth picking up? his projections are pretty high on a few sites but I can't find much information on him anywhere besides him having a really good preseason.

Morrison got traded and Walker has been hurt... which seems to be the case more often than not. I think he has a good chance to take that job and run with it. Def worth a pick up

I’ve been following this closely as a Skai Moore owner myself. Most of the news out there and preseason reps point to him being the week 1 starter in the news. And the fantasy community seems to be taking that as a given at this point. But I’ve also read stuff from beat reporters that believe he will be in Nickel packages (60-70% of snaps) but not the base package. We shall see, he does have a smallish frame and injury history that causes me to wonder if he could hold up with a full time role in the middle. And who knows what happens when Walker comes back. Point is, he’s worth a flier if you have room on your roster for sure, but the odds are against him to succeed long-term if we’re honest with ourselves.

Anthony Walker, as of a couple weeks ago, is still projected to be the starter @ MLB. Moore has been filling in for him while walker recovers from injury.

That being said, Walker never proved anything to be given the starting role, so if Moore really earns the coaches’ trust he should have every chance to be the starter at MLB week 1.

Moore is slight tho, and as pointed out above - has a massive injury history.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a 60-80% snap player even if he’s a starter. Similar perhaps to Duke Riley in ATL last year.
