Pre-Season Observations

Postby GridironGuerilla » Fri Aug 10, 2018 8:03 am

Shaquem Griffen looked good last night with 9 tackles and I thought Kendricks looked hungry. Glad to see him in a new Jersey. Anything stand out to you guys?

Oren Burks baby. Happy to see him get involved. His athleticism is going to be a welcome addition to that slow @$$ defense! Speaking of, not sure Josh Jackson is ready to crack that nickel package. King better get healthy quick.

Minkah looked like he was ready to contribute up to his stock value... Charles Harris - dude. Get in the game.
Not sure how much Sam Hubbard played, but want to see more of him!
Guys i want to see more of who I think have some game: Christian Sam, Dorance Armstrong, Justin Reid, also curious about Hitchens in KC, Jalen Mills hanging on and can Tre'davious White repeat last year.

From what I saw, I would say the opposite here. Jackson looked really good in coverage. Burks seemed to struggle to stay with RB's out of the backfield.

Jerome Baker better and faster than Kiko Alonso.
Kiko is in trouble might be switched to SLB

Faster yes. I REALLY doubt that he’s even close to better than Alonso tho. Baker had no clue what he was doing at OSU, just relied on speed and having stud DL in front of him keeping him clean.

I was actually impressed by both of them. Neither of them shied away from making the play. If they continue on this trajectory, I could see both of them being contributors early for the Packer defense.
