Improving the Defense

Thoughts on improving this IDP group - Picks: 1.9, 2.9, 3.9, 4.9 and 5.9
Rosters have limits and we can only hold the MAX number listed for each position and cannot mix and match…not allowed to have 1 SS and 5 LBs.

Feeling ok on the offense side (roster ins signature for reference) but defense is becoming a concern. Likely use 1st pick on defense or try to trade back to an early 2nd round pick.

IDP Scoring – 1 Pt per Tackle, .5 Pt per assist, 3 Pt per sack, 3 Pt per INT, .5 Pt per FF and 1 Pt per FR

DL: C. Dunlap, D. Hunter, O. Vernon, J. Watt, M. Ingram (79 pts last season)
A little weak with Vernon moving to LB (will have to drop before the draft) and Watt still a huge question mark.
MAX 5

Best Available – V Beasley, R Quinn, F Clark, J Hughes, M Davenport, M Golden and J Sheard

LB: J. Davis, M. Jack, A. Ogletree, B. Wagner (132 pts last season)
Some concerns on Ogletree move to NYG and Jack being a true MLB. Roquan Smith and Tremaine Edmunds should be there in late 1st Rd but who should be moved? Not a lot of other options.
MAX 4

DB: A. Amos, B. Church, J. Cyprien, H. Smith (87.5 pts last season)
Aging group and looking to trade or drop Church. Also Cyprien out of the season so will have to drop.
MAX 4

Best Available – B Baker, D James, V Bell, J Reid, J Tartt, J Johnson and M Fitzpatrick

Thoughts on what should be the main targets and which round?

Drop Cyprien, Vernon, & a kicker.

Pick up Tartt & Clark for sure. Maybe try for Golden or Beasley if you prefer them over Clark.

With the amount of points these guys score I would not be using a pick in the first 2 rounds for sure on any IDP guy
