Hey guys, I've been out of the game for some time and have no real clue how the offseason has shaped up. Where is the nastiest D-line this year?
Any sneaky teams like Jacksonville last season?

Bruiser! I've been wondering where the hell you've been. Missed your insight around here. Glad to have you back. I'd have to say Jacksonville sits on that throne again Lol. Philly, Minnesota, and the Texans would have to be mentioned in that conversation as well imo.

Re: Offseason Catchup
Wouldn't the Rams now having Donald and Suh count?
I only play in 16x53 with 10+ taxi size leagues with full IDP. All are PPR and most value return yardage. So my opinions may be skewed To these deep roster leagues.

And its not like Micheal Brockers is a slouch. Just think....the worst D lineman on the Rams was drafted as the #14 overall pick. Suh was #2 overall and Donald #13 overall. Thats some serious draft capital.

Re: Offseason Catchup
Guerilla, thanks for the kind words. I've missed the fellowship in this lounge for sure. I've been real busy with the fam, but carving out a little time for my old addiction, lol.
I was aware of Suh to Rams, and he's still got some life left in his legs. He's a true gamer, for sure. Is Wade Phillips still running them in a 3-4? Suh moves to DE at 6-4 300, yeah? Unless, they base from a 4-3 this year....
Anyways, LAR d-line has easiest SOS, fwiw.

What are the biggest offseason moves on the defensive side?
Looks like we have a mention of Suh to the Rams being very noteworthy.

Re: Offseason Catchup
JPP to the Bucs, Mo Wilkerson to the Packers, Sheldon Richardson to the Vikings, Quinn to the Dolphins, Hankins cut by Colts and still unsigned. Vinny Curry to the Bucs. That about it for the D-Line.

Wow, Hankins still unsigned? How quickly he has fallen from glory days. These are all interesting moves. Good to see you still hanging around here imparting the wisdom, lukky!

Re: Offseason Catchup
Too kind, Guerilla! I've been away from the game for 8 months, now. I'm just here for the defense, as usual. I noticed RotoWorld depth charts had Brockers at DE and Suh at NT. I would expect them to switch places in that scheme.
Has anyone else speculated on their fit? I'm expecting Suh to make the Rams this year's top unit.
edit: I just read that McVay confirms this scheme fit. I also see that Brockers now lists 302lbs. at Roto. That's a significant reduction from his days at 1T

Word up Bruiser!
Just chiming in on this. I agree keeping Suh at NT 100% of the time seems weird. They've said he'll play there but I think we all expect a certain amount of movement. Brockers and Suh can play all along that line and Ethan Westbrooks is the closest they've got to a specialist nose.
If I was planning it out I'd leave Donald at his spot the whole time. Use Westbrooks in obvious rushing, GL and short yardage situations. Then rotate Suh and Brockers in and out the rest of the time. Suh is 31 and a half now. I dont want him playing 800 snaps any more.
Donald 750-800 snaps
Suh 700-750
Brockers 600-700
Westbrooks 400-500
Others 400-500
Assuming Donald ends up playing of course!
