Trade LB for DE

Have a LB surplus and need to upgrade DE in bonus scoring and yardage for big plays.

Who would you trade between
Darron Lee NYJ or Benadrick McKinney HOU

FOR
Melvin Ingram LAC OR Ezekiel Ansah DET

Or would you trade for both DL?

Need to start 2 DE:
Addison, Beasley, Spence, Wake

Need to start 4 LB:
Edmunds, Telvin, RFoster, DBucannon, DLee, BMcKinney, Jatavis Brown, Fred Warner, Bostic, NBowman

I'd trade either of those LBs for Ingram in a heartbeat.

Probably not Ansah because you've already got two part-time ends in Spence and Wake. Hoping that whoever you start out of that group happens to get a big play from their limited snaps seems like a recipe for starting the wrong lineup most weeks.

I’ll 2nd Tom’s post in that either of those LBs for Ingram is an easy win. However, I would also be super willing to trade Lee for Ansah. Lee sucks and will be replaced soon IMO.

Thanks guys, ended up trading McKinney for Ingram, and added Rivers. Hopefully one of Beasley/Rivers/Spence/Addison can step up within a year or two.

Addison doesnt need to step up. He's already really good. 20 sacks in the last 2 years. 4 straight seasons of 6+ sacks. Much more chance of him falling away since he's nearly 31.

Sorry, I meant one of Beasley/Rivers/Spence to step up, since Wake is almost ready to retire and both Ingram/Addison are 30 or near. For this season, pretty much have to count on Addison to be my DE2.

I chose to trade McKinney over Lee as it seemed like McKinney is more likely to be phased out on passing downs and faces competition from Zach Cunningham as well. The partner did not want to do a 2 for 2 trade.
