Martinez for Adams?

I made this trade today and I’m looking for some feedback.
Gave: Blake Martinez
Got: Jamaal Adams

It’s 1.5 ppt/ .75 assist

I have some depth at LB and not much at DB.

Thoughts?

If you needed a safety then it's fine.
But I'd rather have Blake M. Safety is such a deep position with massive annual turnover. I don't really trust anyone to stay that productive across seasons

I guess if you really needed a safety. Usually you can add those during the season from the waiver wire though, so I def would have kept Martinez in that scenario.

It seems unlikely that Adams will get that number of snaps again, either due to missing time or the team improving. If you traded away depth to get him, that's probably a net positive for your team, but in straight-up value, I think you lost pretty badly.
