OTC LB/DL opinions

Postby motherlode » Thu Jun 21, 2018 4:14 am

OK so im OTC in the 6th round. 12 teams 40 man roster start 4 LB/2DL/2DB

I feel like ive assembled a pretty good LB corps.....Woodyard, Whitehead, Williamson, RFoster, JDavis, RSmith, REvans, DLeonard.

I have a roster weakness at DL (Hunter and Takk McKinley only). I was planning on using this last pick to bolster my DL, but there are too many interesting names in the draft pool at LB, and i feel like i can get DL help off the WW or in a trade later.

Fred Warner
Josey Jewell
Jerome Baker
Mason Foster
Josh Bynes
Matt Milano

I know Warner is a favorite of Lukky, and i am like 99% leaning towards taking him (since i own R Foster as well it makes sense from a roster standpoint as well)

Or should i just be happy with the LB i have now, and draft a DL since that is what i really need?

Thanks in advance.

If there isn't a dl you really like, I'd probably take Warner and look to trade for another dl.

in a league where it is DL rather than required DT and DE there isn't a lot I really like in this class other than some really deep league stashes. I would say take warner here

There are some interesting vets in the draft pool but there are enough that I should be able to pick up someone serviceable off the WW when waivers start. We get 3 pts per solo for DL vs 2 for LB and DB so it brings DTs up a little so there are a ton of 8-10 ppl guys out there to pick up.
