Arden Key

Postby Forza_Azzurri » Thu May 10, 2018 3:58 pm

I took a late round flier on Key with hopes he get classified as DE (currently listed on MFL as LB) ... what are the common ways league handle EDGE guy?

I’ve seen Raiders’ depth charts that have listed him as LB & others list him as DE.

Considering OAK runs a 3-4 defense, my guess is he'll stay designated as an OLB. Some leagues do have EDGE designations, but I think that's somethings that's a few years off from becoming mainstream (as it should be IMO).

I know this isn't your question, but seriously just avoid this dude. He's not even worth a flyer pick.

Remember Devonte Fields from Louisville in the 2017 draft? Exactly.

Saying the Raiders run a 3-4 is not genuine. They are primarily 4-3 with some hybrid. Not to mention the new DC runs a 4-3. I would expect Key to ultimately be DE.

Yeah, I’ve seen the Raiders listed as born 3-4 & 4-3..

I took him at 6.13 (4th to last pick) ... pretty slim pickings at that point.

I think 6.13 is a great spot to land him. I think he has potential.
