What to expect from Watt

Postby saw061600 » Sat Mar 24, 2018 6:39 pm

Was offered JMatt for him in a superflex. Declined but makes me wonder what his value is.

10% chance he returns to his absolute game-wrecking ways of domination. Posts another 2-3 years of 65+ combined tackles and 15+ sacks

45% chance he's still a really good lineman for the next 3-4 years, getting 45+ combined tackles and 8-10 sacks, but not the superhuman freak that he once was

30% chance he's never again an IDP difference-maker (he's startable week-to-week, but more along the lines of Stephon Tuitt or Malik Jackson)

15% chance he struggles to get through another handful of games, goes back to IR, and then calls it quits before too long

Kind of about what I have him, 50-50 with a small (but equal) chance he busts or returns to top tier.
I've Okafor, Zettle, Tuitt and Addison on the roster already.

What do you think Watt’s value is in rookie picks (this format is fine to use as a litmus test)
Finally on Twitter @dynastybarrett

i read a lot of reports from people who had the same injury as him and they did not leave me feeling optimistic. I think theres a high chance he doesnt play anywhere near the same level again and i havent heard anything about his recovery (and the reports i read indicated more than a year time till light running can resume, but these were posts from everyday people like you and me not star athletes with millions of dollars) so although he gets the best treatment and is probably afforded better care that leads to faster/smoother recovery i am feeling weary about his future
